I’m gonna make it happen.

I have worked in public and media relations for over 10 years, with a Masters in Public Relations from John Hopkins University and a Bachelors in Communications from Bowie State University.  I currently work for the Federal Government, managing advertising campaigns for federal health care programs. I have led efforts at multiple government agencies around implementing integrated social media communications plans and creating engaging content that increases the user experience on social platforms. I am an Obama Administration Alum, where I worked on one of Obama’s key housing programs in response to the financial recession of 2008. There I was a spokesperson for the program, where I led media interviews all around the country promoting the program, and developing marketing strategies to reach one of Americas vulnerable populations.

Outside of my professional work, I am a self-taught financial guru, where I teach others my methods to financial stability, saving, getting and remaining out of DEBT. When I’m not teaching others how to be financially fit, I am helping others organize parts of their lives, as I have found that being organized helps all the pieces fall into place, being a mom and hosting mom events to bring black women together around the common theme of motherhood. Oh and I’m also a college professor, teaching Advertising at Bowie State University, my Alma Mater. Bulldogs stand UP!
