Visit a pumpkin farm

Whether you go with your kids or your friends, the pumpkin farm is a great activity to kick off fall. You can enjoy fresh apple cider donuts, caramel and candy apples and fresh apple pies. Some really cool farms in the area that are huge and have lots to offer are:

Go Apple Picking

Because what would be fall without apples. This is the perfect activity for kids and it’s a super cute photo op. Pick apples here:

Carve or Decorate Pumpkins

Because carving is messy, you can easily opt for coloring a pumpkin with a marker or painting a pumpkin. The painted pumpkins make for super cute porch decor.

Visit a Sunflower Garden

What better fall flower is there than a sunflower? Okay, maybe mums lol Take pics at the sunset, and you’ll create a super cute photo. You can pick your own sunflowers and have them for props in your picture. Pro tip: sunflowers do draw bugs, so be careful for bees and other insects. Sunflower gardens below:

Take a Ride to See the Leaves Changing

The leaves changing colors and the fall foliage gives all the feels for fall. And seeing the beautiful orange colors, let’s you know fall is here. Taking a ride with the family is a great way to bond over a nice fall day. Here’s some great fall scenery in the Baltimore area.

With the seasons changing comes great seasonal, fresh food from local farmers markets. The Downtown Farmer’s Market in Baltimore offers everything from fresh vegetables to hot prepared food. Check and Google local farmers markets in your area, or venture out to other areas with amazing markets.

Watch a Movie Outdoors

Phone a friend who has a projector if you don’t have one, and set up a cute and intimate outdoor movie night for the family. All you need is a projector and a sound system and you’re good to go. You can project the image off your house, or a white sheet. Grab some popcorn and snacks to add to your experience.

Take Fall Family Pictures

Now I have given you all these wonderful fall experiences, be sure to snap it up with some pics of the family. Pro tip: Bring someone like a grandparent or aunt along with you for the fun, and they can also take your photos. If not, don’t be too shy to ask a stranger. Be make sure you get the pic!📸
