Where to Shop for Back to School
I know it’s hard to believe we are already preparing for back to school. So many people ask me what’s the best place to shop for certain things, so I’m here to give you all my fav places to shop to get all my back to school items, even Walmart.🥴
School supplies- While I want to go to Target for everything, they just don’t have all the items you need for supplies. Trust me, I had been going school supply shopping with my god kids since 2011, and Target sadly, doesn’t make the cut. So we are, I know, take a deep breath, stuck with WALMART. So for supplies, your best go to is Walmart, and you’ll find everything you need there at a much lower price.
Backpack and lunch boxes- Pottery Barn Kids has the cutest lunch boxes and back packs, and you can get them personalized with your child’s name. This may fall into the category of doing too much, but whatever! A lot of the items are on sale, so you may be able to find something you like that’s a good price. I got a personalized water bottle for my son from here too.
Snacks and food- Yall know those kids stomach start to act different once school starts and they always need an “after school snack” and some schools want you to pack a snack to school each day. Your best bet is a bulk store like Sams, Costco and BJs. You’ll be able to get bulk snack items like chips, juices and crackers for a better price.
Shoes- People always wonder how I find a lot of my son’s shoes, and the truth is I stalk Nike.com. Literally, right now if you type in the word Dunk , and a ton of available Dunks will come up. I like to have at least 2 pair of brand new tennis shoes kids can wear back to school.
Socks- Over here, we rock Nike socks lol Nike socks and socks in general can be purchased at Marshalls. And simple, basic socks can be purchased from Target…I shall not say that W word again, but you know you can go there. lol
Jacket- Although it’s warm out now, fall will be here in no time! Some simple fall jackets to have for your children are a denim jacket and a bomber. Both can be found at the Gap. Zara also has super cute jackets for kids. And don’t forget the rain jacket, please be in formation in the rain…mmmkkkayyy.
And for those needing basic uniforms not from a specific store, Target, Children’s Place, and Old Navy all have great uniform options. Just be sure to check the pants out, don’t have my nephews and nieces with them wide old pants lol
I think that rounds up the places I shop for Back to School. Enjoy!
